The Amazonian Salamander is a special kind of salamander which is green. This difference of colour is explained by the original place of this creature, the Amazon rainforest. However, it seems that certain Amazonian Salamanders always have their original colour, the red. Amazonian Salamanders are particularly vulnerable to the Petrificus Totalus spell, the Spongify spell and the Glacius spell. However, they are resistant to Diffindo and Incendio.
